If anyone (who's actually going to D*C) happens to have access to a 40-inch-waist western gun belt (accompanying gun not necessary) that I could borrow, I'd really appreciate it.

Yes, I know you can buy them but they're too expensive. I've looked on eBay, costume shops, novelties (plastic :yuk: ), and everywhere else.
I don't want to be buried in the damn thing, just borrow it for the weekend.

You'd think out here in the wild west everyone would have one, but apparently I don't have the right kind of friends. I've been begging and bugging for months! Anyway, I'd appreciate any assistance here. One of my costumes is in some serious need of accessories.

I've been looking around here for one. If I find two, I'll bring one for you. ^_^

Let me check with my father in law. We have gun belts, but they are NOT western in style. But my in-laws are into the country way of life (their house - in the country - is decorated with pink roses, lace, and horse wallpaper). And they ride western and are into shows and they collect firearms.
