FORGING TRUST
Humans from Earth come to a planet with the intention of setting up a colony. The scout team discovers the planet to be inhabited by dragon-like natives. A misunderstanding occurs when the leader of the expedition opens fire and injures one of the Dragon leaders.
As the other Humans treat the injured Dragon, an adolescent Dragon named Varthikes befriends one of the Humans--Audwin McClance. The two work to establish a peaceful coexistence between their two kinds.
