I bought the Doona Series on ebay today :D

I've only read one of the Doona books through. Got bored on the second and although I own the third, I've never read it! :blush:

Not my favourite Anne series but it's way up there for a lot of folk... Will be interesting to read your opinion... When you get them ;)

mmmm ...maybe I will dig out hubby's copy of the Doona and the Dino Planet books and see if I can't egt into them this time.....

I got more into the Dino books on the second read through if that makes sence? The third read prompted the ebay search for the Planet Pirate books - i got it wrong in my first post - it was Planet Pirate, not the Doona Books - whoops...
I feel like i have totally outgrown the Dragon books of Annes, havent reread them in almost two years now so i have been making an active effort to move through the series i hadnt read... Planet Pirates, Doona and the Powers that Be are it now (although i did read book one of PTB a while back) i think...

Even though the Planet Pirates/Dinosaur Planet books aren't my favorite series, I do still like them. :good:

I have the first and third Doona book, but not the second. They were okay I guess, but don't inspire me to re-read very often.

I read the last two books of the Doona series and then found the first one - it was fun learning the full story!

I've always ranked the Doona series (along with Petaybee series) among my favorites. And would have loved another PTB book about Yanna and Sean's children.

But this reminds me that I haven't re-read Dino Planet, et al in a longggggggg time. Hmmmm, winter reading ahead, I think ;)

Although I liked the first Doona book, I've never really gotten into it. I do love the Planet Pirate series though. It's probably my third favorite series.

I have recently re-read the three DoonaRrala books (or RralaDoona, depending on what race you are) and thoroughly enjoyed them.
In fact, I enjoy them more the more often I do read them

I loved the first Doona book, quite enjoyed the second, and was badly disappointed in the third. The ending was just too much for me to swallow!

Pat look in the PTB/Acorna forum - There's a thread posted that says there's going to be a new series of books about Sean and Yana's kids. Someone got the news from Del Rey and Elizabeth Scarbourough's site.

I don't get into Doona as well as some other worlds. I guess it's a good thing there are many worlds so that some appeal to everyone!

Bloody hell - the book has finally arrived at my post office - i need to go and pick it up from their on Monday - of course it has to arrive now that i am back at work making getting to the post office during post offive hours difficult!

So getting a negative rating!
