View Full Version : The Igniter

The world is an ashtray...
We are all the butts of one another's jokes,
Our heads are in the ash of humanity:
The vile filth of judgments left behind.
Do not stare at me like you superior.
Do not pretend like you know exactly who I am,
like you know the problems I face.
Your cold, hard eyes are what drive me to hate,
To hate the image that is reflected,
To hate the man that I have become.
For I am just a lighter above the ashes,
An igniter of the judgments yet to come.
I am the weak that your fire burns.
I am the filth that you flick your ashes on.
Do not judge me for I have risen above the ashes
As a phoenix reborn anew!
Do not judge me for I am the fire burning strongly,
The one that will be the end of all of you.
So do not judge and do not hate
For fire burns more than your ashes
I have risen from the ashtray of earth
And will throw you back to your ashes
To make you pay for what you have done.
So burn your puny life-force away
With each new passing judgment

I will pity you when you become as everyone else:
A butt left amid the ashes.
