Keep or Toss?

Keep: Discourages against the 1 post person who likes to just come in and say "Bookmark"

Toss: Leads to speed WLTs as people try to meet the 10 post minimum before doing anything else.

Ummmm... I'm not sure....

I like the idea of people saying more than hello....

I HATE when people post drivel to up their counts (to get over 10, to be the top poster etc)....

I think the washing machine is a very WLT idea!

I must say, it has discouraged me from commenting if I don't have time to make 10 posts.... and I suppose that's a good thing if it discourages people from posting bits of nothing....

Perhaps it could be kept but the minimum number of posts reduced to 5?

I think that my answer has to be toss, unfortunately. It is a good idea, but causes paeople to post drivel for ten posts just to ensure that they don't go into the WaMaPooP. I don't know whay though... it is easy enough to make ten posts if there are no motors.

I dont always have time to post more than a  Heyla~

I only get a half hour break for lunch and during winter season, im too busy to sneek in, in-between customers... (spring summer and fall are different stories)

The WaMaPooP is cute this is cuter :whee: but I've played in the washer once.. I'll probably ignore the machine from here on out~

gotta run... customer's found me~

Well, I don't really care if it stays or goes. I just ignore it, anyway. So, even though I do think it's very Willet, I wouldn't mind if it was just a fad, so I voted toss.

I rather like it -- when it is just used as what it was intended: a way to poke fun. However, when we have 10 posts counting down to being "safe", it gets rather old. After all, how much will it hurt someone to be tossed into the WaMaPooP? It's not as if it were a real washing machine and anyone were incurring any damage. It's more a way to say, "aha! we caught you!" I voted to let it stay, but caution folks to look at it in the way in which it's intended (hmmm. . . that's assuming that I'm reading Ja¥son's mind, and that's a truly scary thought  )

I didn't vote since I haven't been able to post in the willet much lately - although, I'm sure I was in it a few threads ago when I posted 2 times. ;) It does sound like a willet (and Jayson) thing though.

Definitely a Jayson thing.

I voted to toss it, but I really don't care. It's kind of a cute thing.:shrugsmilie:

You don't have the traditional PMD option in the poll. You also don't have "I don't care one way or the other" which is probably what I would have voted for.

Either way I don't think I mind either way.

Couple of things...

Personally, I created it as a larf! It hardly causes trauma to those who end up in the WaMaPooP but if folk're posting drivel to avoid it then they should know better... We've commented on drivel before! It's what the willet was originally but we've evolved beyond that!

I also think that people p'rpas need to lighten up on such issues as whether or not we need a WaMaPooP? Do we need a proper poll, in the poll forum (should be in G&S where other willet debates go if you ask me!) to discuss such a trivial issue?

I started throwing folk in, yeah, hoping others might follow but only to kick start the willet again which had been lapsing into a comatose state! If it's suddenly an 'issue' then puh-leese just drop it

Cripes!

Well said, Jayson. :)

It should be something fun; if it becomes something we have to pay attention to every Willet...

Oh.. thats what that is... Then I guess i've been in it a few times. I rarily poke into the WLT. ANd when I do its at this time of day, when nobody seems to be on much. Consequentially its pretty much drivel.

I voted for Keep, but I think it should be lowered to 5 too. We don't want people posting meaningless nonsense just to stay out, but then whats so bad about being in the WaMaPoop? if we get thrown in, just accept it in the good fun of the game. Its like an amusement park, ya go round and round and round Weeeeeeeee!!! We should be fighting to get IN! :D

Keep it we need new traditions in the willet. Lower the postings to 5, and yes I know I'm currently enjoying a :whee: But I knew I had to start somewhere.

Okay...explain this new tradition to me...PLEASE!!I have explained this to Silverspirit157 in the current willet.

I have also made appropriate comments there!

As I say, I don't think this is the place for such discussion.
