A poem I wrote today.

OLD AGE


My Body is falling apart
As old age catches me up
Arthritis in all my joints
I can't even hold my cup

It seems like only yesterday
When I could walk, run and leap
But now the aches and pains
Stop me from getting any sleep

Now I don't mind getting old
And learning wisdom with the years
But why does my body let me down
And leave me in painful tears?

I love it, Ilona. But I can relate to it. With all the rain we've had in the last couple of weeks "Arthur Itis" has been visiting and I really wish he'd go back to whereever it is he came from! :sad:
