Theres only one book I've read by this author, called Walk Two Moons. Its my very favorite non sci-fi/fantasy book. I had to read it for an 8th grade book report, and usually preselected books in school I despise, but I've read it 2 times after that, its so lovely. Its about a young girl who on a car trip to Idaho with her grandparents, tracing down her mother who had left her suddenly. She entertains her grandparents with a story of a very odd friend she met and these mysterious, insightful notes that are being left at her doorstep. Its very touching, and sometimes heartbreaking, and its definately worth a read if you like stuff that sounds like real life.
