:bouncy: During this year my school was playing in the australian stock market game. I'm so pround of my results i though i would tell you all.

$49,877.58 was my total portfolio value. I was above the average portfolio value. Out of the 14721 people that played in i ranked 5194. And the best thing was i topped my school which is a amazing thing because they had their teachers help where as i was playing totaly by myself :bouncy:

So thats my loud and proud statement for the day :D

What strategy did you use? Do you think you'll invest in 'real' stock now? How much money did you get to start with? :D

i think we started out with $50,000 though i can't remember if it had less 0's i used the strategy of randomly chosing a share and buying ten of them for $3.50 each i'm not going to put money into real shares yet i don't have any money. im going to try playing the game next year and try to get more money out of it.

:ok: That's cool! I played a stock market game last year in the 6th grade. My team and I ended up being around...10th place in the state, I think. We had around 100,000 dollars (which is what we had to start with :evil: ).

sadly i did lose some money but i still won gloating rights:box: at school. :shhh: i also won a prize god knows what it is though :)
