Few weeks a bunch of little goits smashed my window... It was boarded up and a man was sent round a few days later to measure it. Thus begins the Saga of The Double Glazed Window.
SO! A week after it is measured there is a knock on the door. It's the guy who measured it. He realised he made a wrong measurement when they sent a window three times too big. So in he comes, measures it, and leaves, promising my new window in two weeks.
A week later, someone knocks on the door. He has a triple glazed window to put in the frame. Triple glazed? says I. But I have double glazing...
With that he swears, drops the window and then wanders off, leaving me with my feet covered in shattered glass as he goes to get a dustpan and brush.
Now, a guy knocks on the door. He has a double glazed window to put in the frame! He comes in and removes the old window, all good so far! Off he trots with my old broken window... and wanders back looking extremely pissed with a new window... complete with a HUGE crack across it. He caught it on the van and cracked it. They are coming next week to fit the new new new window :D
Wish me luck this time huh? Gotta be third time lucky!
