Pern RPG's?

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right forum... This has to do with DRoP, but it also has to do with a different site.

And second, hiya, I'm new. ^-^ Sorta. I used to be on the old, old KT.

First off, does anybody know of any really good Weyr RPGs out there? Official or unoffocial? And how do I go about getting one approved of, especially if it strays so far from the original Pern...?

The reason I'm wondering is because a friend of mine and I are trying to revive a Weyr that we were in, brought back to life after the original owner left... The Weyr died a couple of months ago - people strayed away. But now we're bringing it back.

But the Weyr is extremely non-canon and AU. The characters can be virtually anything, and the colors have warped and mutated over time... It's unique in its own right, and was really fun when I was in it. Of course, we don't screw up the Pern universe that much. It's just sort of a fun, but serious, parody.

I was wondering if I should dare to advertise it...see if anybody wants to join. We will need some loyal and active members.

This isn't the one that I'm creating, mind you.

Go ahead and advertise for it. :D I doubt anyone will hurt, main, or run you off for it--though there are some who might cook you for being "new" to the forums.. :evil:

As for other good Weyrs, I'll plug my own. :D Besides, we can used new blood.

We need some new blood, as well. As in loyal members... The Weyr I was in died off once, revived, died off again, revived...

We only have three active members now. It's on MSN Groups...and I wanted to see if the owner would move to phb boards...

I'll post the link in a second. And I'll be certain to check out those boards of your's. I recently joined a Weyr, had my characters Impress...and suddenly the whole place got quiet.

We are mostly canon... A recent clutch has produced 2 Grey dragons! The Lord Holder is fond of a bite to eat at night... And as for the Weyrleader. Well! He and his dragon disagree on the name the Bronze holds, and he is rarely to be seen. The weyr is being inhabited by a ghost, who was recently slain by a rather irate pregnant green watchwher...

All in all, chaos n stuff rule this weyr!

When it is active, it is a lovely little weyr to play at :D

The other weyr in my siggie is also fun to play at when it is active.
