A question for anyone else who has read these - i finally got around to number three this weekend and it is so abrupt it just ends, and then there is an Epilouge that tells of all these other adventures without going into detail...

I feel like the series has slipped over the three books - the first was fabulous - even more so now that i have been to Nijo Jo in Kyoto and seen and walked on an actual Nightinggale Floor. And the second was still good, but not as good... Number three i have been really disapointed with - it is just that i have the headcold from hell and i feel bad or have i been let down by the book?

Anyone else

Love Dai

I see what you mean Dai, but I didn't have the same impression as you. I thought my disappointment at the end was simply that it was the end, and I wanted more! Now I think of it, it was a bit rushed. I would still warmly recommend this series though, as a marvelleous read! Lucky you to have been to Japan, and walked on a Nightingale floor!
