I wanted to watch this series, but was busy on the same night, so never got into it. Can you watch occasionally and not be really lost?

We've had 4 hours already. I missed the first 30 minutes so I don't know if Tony is in jail or not. Jack seems to have left CTU so he could get his life together. I had to tape the last 2 hours and haven't watched them yet. Last I saw, Jack was chasing a kidnapper and victim.

Since I only watched the first season, they are all in fine fettle as far as I know. We were very dissapointed with the second season so stopped watching it about half way through. So that's where Tony ended up huh? He is bound to get out of jail. But...it's Jack's show so he wins :erm:

Jack's really gotten himself into deep doo-doo already, hasn't he?

yea that Jack just can't seem to stay out of trouble, wounder how here going to convince the head of the CTU to let him stay on the case and not throw him into a holding cell.

Actully the new CTU head tossed him out,She did'nt want a herroin addict on the team,as for Tony I don't think he's even been mentiond yet.

I first got into 24 by watching the first 2 episodes ... alas then due to shift work i missed the next 4 episodes ... so upon its DVD release i purchased series 1 & 2 in a double DVD Box set .... its arrival actualy coincided with my release from hospital after my apendicitus, and i ended up watching series 1 and 2 in a 3 day marathon ... all part of my recovery of course ;)
Bardmaiden might tell you how hard it was to distract me and get me to move away from the TV :D
It was a similar thing with series 3 (except my appendix was already gone)

They did show the first season here as a 24-hour marathon on one channel a few years ago. Didn't watch it then either!

:banghead: :banghead: They showed episodes 1 and 2 together on a Sunday. The next week I saw episodes 3 and 4 also Sunday. Last night, hubby let me delay going out for our anniversary supper so I could see if it's on and nothing. I haven't even seen a commercial for it. I am NOT amused with this. If they want people to watch the show, they have to have it on the same time every week. :irked:

i hate it when a tv channel does that!!!
the BBC and Channel 4 are both very good at replacing a tv series with a large and loyal fan base, with a high number of viewers, and then with little or no notice replace into the timeslot some very dull darts tournament or a regional golf tour... or dare i mention the worst substitution ..... a rerun of a Tennis match that everyone had already seen before, which itself was a substitution due to no actual tennis being played at wimbledon due to rain!!!!!
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
we should unite and smite down these TV executives who so torment our lives !!!!!!!! Viva la TV revolution!!!!! :bouncy:

I found it again. :D they moved it to another night, I was worried that it had been pre-empted. That happened several times last year.

Tape it. this is about the 6th show for us, so might not be the one you have coming next. The big suprise is after a rescue attempt and while on a trip to view security tapes of a private function.
I'm trying real hard to give you an idea of when this happens without giving anything away. :(
