Just a heads-up to people with old Pern fanfic mouldering on their hard-drive - Fanfiction.net has now opened the doors to McCaffrey stuff again. (Just noticed today when updating some other stuff that - hey! Anne McCaffrey category so I thought I'd pass word around.)

I'm more addicted to Godawful Fanfiction, myself.

I've actually seen a few good fics on FF.Net, so it's not a complete waste of time. And the fics I've seen sporked at GAFF definitely deserve it.

I've never had to deal with flames over there. And there are some really good stories wihich I keep traack of when I've got time and nothing else to do.

I think they picked the lock, because I'm under the impression that even though Anne has opened up Weyrs and personal fan fiction, she doesn't appreciate slash or crossovers (and who can blame her with the drivel that is out there!!! yes, there is good stuff but few and far between). But hey. If they don't delete it, then I guess it's OK.
