:applause: I was able to go to a big bookstore today something which I have not been able to do in awhile. I got in the Scifi/fanatasy section today and it was like :whee: and then :banghead: cause I didn't have enough $$$$ to get what I want. So had to settle for a select few. :shhh:

Here is what I wanted to tell all. The Anne McCaffrey section has a copy of most all of her books available. The Mystery Of Ireta which is a combined copy of Dinosaur Planet & Dinosaur Planet Survivors in paperback. So if you do not have these books they are available still in the big bookstores. :erm: you just got to have the bills available to purchase all you want. :ugg:

Dont your big bookstores have branches all over?
I would expect if a book is available from one, you can get it from any branch
Oh, I would also expect big bookstores to have web sites
Now, THAT is VERY interesting!

There is a large bookstore in Denver, forget what it's called, but it calls itself the largest independent bookstore in either the world or the country. Don't know if it's that one or not.

As long as a book is in print (and from a publisher the bookstore usually deals with), they can order it for you even if they choose not to stock it. And most of Anne's books are still in print, especially those from Del Rey.

I bought the two DP books from a huge Used Bookstore that's on the way home from school. Got them for essentially the same price as TMoI would have been at a New Bookstore.

In fact, of the 27 books I now have of Anne's (and her son's), only 4 were bought new. The rest I bought either Used or from the library. :)
