Finals :(

hi!
So, I'm taking a 2 minute break from writing papers to come say hi...I handed in a 3 page paper yesterday, a 10 pager the day before, and have 3 more 10 pagers to write/finish/edit in the next week. I also have a final the same day as the middle paper is due, and I'm currently hopped up on caffeine. Considering I started drinking coffee this year and I'm on my second medium coffee of the day (coffee, not caramel macchiato or any other fun mixed drink), I'm kind of tired!
Anyone else feel my pain?

Thankfully I don't have to write all those papers. I've got 6 (5 are Finals) tests, packing/moving to a new dorm, tutoring a bunch of students, essay assignments for tutor certification all from Dec. 7-14 :crazy: Plus I have to go home this weekend. :roll:

I took my first final exam today thanks to a very kind instructor who believes in just getting it over with. My last class is tomorrow, I have finals Friday, Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday.

I have three papers due for the last day of class tomorrow and I have to write an essay outline by Friday which I can't actually bring to class with me, just remember what I WANT to write and try to get it written at the final exam. Crazy. I have one cruel instructor who doesn't believe in multiple choice or any other kind of test like that. All tests are 100% essay. :crazy:

I haven't had a multiple choice test since high school...oh, how I miss them. Those were my favorite! I finished the paper I was working on before...jsut needs massive editing. Now I'm writing the last one, but I sadly have NO clue what to write about. GRRRR.

I've got my exams after Christmas (oh joy), but I'll be writing part of my dissertation through the holidays, which shall be great fun (not!) It scares me that I've about six months or so left of my course before I go into the big wide world again. :crazy:

That's kinda mean that you go home for awhile and have to come back and take a final. I know some people here have to go through all of winter break and then come and take a final. :crazy: I sure hope I don't have any of those professors! :roll:

me too. I used to hide out in a corner of the library and try to memorize every note I took. *shudders at the memory*

Oh man... I just remember I'd study a little here and there, read notes when I could, and then the night or part of the day before the test I would CRAM with my notes and such. My memory is awful, so if I studied some things too long before hand I wouldn't remember.

Though I so loved it when they let us use notes. :santagrin

I was one of "those" people who made up index cards to study from. Makes sense considering I was a History major and it helped me keep track of important people, names and events. I'd whip them out at every free moment and quiz myself.

Using notes always worked against me. I had soooo many notes that it was hard to find what I needed. Esaier to use the index cards.

It was in comparative gov'ts of europe...i had to come up with a gov't for greenland and the roma. It sucked, but w/e. Now all I've got left is a final a week from..well, yesterday, I guess, in American Legal History. That'll be fun. Not.
