A is for Alessan, the grief-stricken man
B is for B'greal, lending Moreta a hand
C is for Ciparis, the good Neratian brother
D is for Dragons, bonding with others
E is for Elliath, Uloa's gold queen
F is for Fire-lizards, going between
G is for Gold, the senior of the Weyr
H is for Hannath, bringing Oklina good cheer
I is for Impression, a lifelong bond
J is for James Tillek, of whom many were fond
K is for Kamiana, the sharp-tongued rider
L is for Lytol, whose Wardership brought him higher
M is for Mardra, Lessa's obstinate foe
N is for N'ton, who won the Fort Leadership some Turns ago
O is for Orlith, lost on Moreta's quest
P is for Pendra, thinking her daughters were the best
Q is for Quoarth, M'ray's brown beast
R is for Robinton, always ready for Benden wine at a feast
S is for S'loner, the father of F'lon
T is for T'gellan, who, from the tsunami, was pale and drawn
U is for Undercover, like Robinton's spy Nip
V is for Vintages, which Robinton loves to sip
W is for Weyrs, autonomous and strong
X is for X-rays, Terran technology long gone
Y is for Yasith, the new senior queen on Pern
Z is for Zulaya, for whom K'vin yearned
