p.10 by WeWoKa for Kat

To the end again we've arrived
Bronzie, Milo and Crispy from the pit did not survive
In the next willet they will rise again
To wreak havoc and terror on we and our friends
Until then we wait and plot to protect
From their revenge we need to deflect
So gather around you guys and you gals
We unite together, all take your vows!

p.2 by Milo

Bronzie, C_ris and me
what a terrible place to be
a smurfs small intestine
his colon molestin'
by the Pond Church protected
we prayed, and were resurrected!

p.3 by Aurelia

Suddenly
It's page three
Comes on you out of the blue
Unfortunately, this is too true
The willet is such a part of the Table
I'll post in it as long as I am able!

p.4 by Bronze Dragonrider

Page 4
Gutter gallore
Will innocence return?
Never more!

p. 5 by Rabble

Fives' alive and On-Ons' an onion
the potatoes are evil
and the ducks are the dogs' dinner
Innit?

p.6 by Sophia Calligo

Page six is here
*gives everyone a beer*

p.7 by Cosmic Dancer

Once again I find myself at the top of page seven,
landing myself in poemage heaven,
Or should that really be poemage hell,
For most of my poems never quite gel?

p.8 by Weyrwoman Kalina

Here we arrive again
Page 8, to almost miss poemage a sin
I ketchup away
And I play and I play
And almost missed that the page did begin
So here's a poem to you
Soon it will be through
It's not quite the best
But it beats giving a test!

p.9 by Kathryn Draconna

Love, doth in many forms come,
But only with time to some.
What one says feels right,
Another may vert well fight.

p. 10 by Jay Quessir

It's page 10
Once again
Let's all join in

p.2 by Aurelia

All of a sudden
It's poem time
I'm under pressure
To make it rhyme
Will this be archived
Forever more?
If it is,
I'll be ashamed, for sure!

p.3 by Kathryn Draconna

Under the Blessed Mother's light,
The Moon Flowers shine so bright.
The Moon Stone path rambles on,
As one young woman strolls alone.
Pentacle fountain with its wonderful hieght,
A great building comes into her sight.
Soft and cool this great gemstone shines,
A tribute to the Moon's sweet times.

Page Four at the door
Here we are, standing everywhere
and you barge through it.

p. 5 by Purpura

Being a Makahomian Temple Cat
is where it's definitely at
We prowl the temple square
noses in the clear air

Cream or water to drink
food aplenty, time to think
What to hunt down next
or dream away hours nonvexed

I pounce on the critters
sit on laps of sitters
Being a Makahomian Temple Cat
is where it's definitely at

A yarn toy? Spin it!
This poem ends with INNIT!

p.6 by Bullbound

Page six
Built a house out of sticks
So long and thin

Came along a storm
By the name of norm
And blew it all to bits.

p.7 by Sharon

Although this is Page Seven
I have immunity ain't it heaven?

(she posted one! :D)

p.8 by Sharon

We made it to page eight!
Ain't that just great?

p.9 by c_ris

Page Nine
Isn't it fine
And such as lovely day!

Page Nine
It smells of pine
And runs off to play!

p.10 by WeWoKa

It's a task to get any w*rk done with badgers running around
They steal your things and put them in places that they'll never be found.
Where that is we do not ask, in truth we don't want to know,
They horde and plunder without any worries
Lead by Rabbleses, the ducks' foe.
We try to banish them from this realm
But that's quite hard to do
We even tried to get a lawyer, and for all their crimes, SUE!
But even that did not work
And here they will remain...
Ah well, it makes for a fun war
And the ducks will triumph AGAIN AND AGAIN!

WooHoo!
Page Two!

p.3 by Bullbound

page three
I need a tree
to sit under and ponder
the mysteries of the universe and what I'll do for lunch

p. 4 by Rabble

It's page four,
and Eyna shoulda seen that coming,
Innit?

p.5 by C’milo

It is now page five
the gutter's alive
the badger still smells
but oh what the hell
it's fun to wallow in muck

I aint a stripper
unless you're a good tipper
lets see what you've got
is that your best shot?
sorry you're out of luck.

p.6 by Bullbound

Page six
Looking at sticks

p.7 by Cosmic Dancer

I'm top of a page again,
which is rather a pain,
It's page seven you know,
and I'm hoping for snow!!

p.8 by Aurelia

What is with the unending w*rk?
It rarely helps one learn - it only irks
The population of my grade
It's not as if we're getting paid
To be forced through all this vexing stuff
Leaving one, such as me, in a huff

p.9 by WeWoKa

Page nine
Be it rhyming time?
Or be it time to go to w*rk?
I'd hopes for rest
But making money might be best,
Maybe it's a personality quirk.
No one knows
So I'll just say this final thing to you
I won't fight,
Or maybe it's right to run around shouting KUNG FU!!
Innit?

p.2 by Jax

Hostie Immunity *sigh*

p.3 by WeWoKa

The time has come
To write again
A poem about my good willet friends.
We may banter
And fight rather bad
But in truth without one another we'd all be sad.
So let's come together
And have a bit of fun,
The party's still here
The KT is number one!!

Innit?

:D

p.4 by The Ancient One
Well, no more...
Not even for page four!

p.5 by Wolfegar

Oh, look!
Page five!
I'm immune.
And your not.

p.6 by Bronze Dragonrider

Page six
Can badgercat learn tricks?
Fetch some sticks,
Scratch behind her ears for ticks,
Or maul someone just for kicks?

p. 7 by WeWoKa

On the top
I just can't stop
So this poem I'll drop
And like a bunny hop
And run away from the Schnapps
Until I get back on top.
Innit?

p.8 by Aurelia

Suddenly
It's getting late
My, how do I hate
The night before
A major day
At school, of course - I have to lay
down to go to bed soon
Watching the... ....moon
And I have something to warm all your hearts
Tomorrow, I have a health quiz on male and female private parts.

p. 9 by C’milo

The gutter the gutter!
What could be butter?
Perhaps a good rhyme
but I ain't got the time
our sensibilities are piggledy-higgle
"sex!" I just made Zei giggle!

p.10 by Amy B

Having exams is not a nice thing
and having a cold is worse

that :lurk: post really stumped you guys
for page two, I'm the only one who flies

p.3 by WeWoKa

Oh sure... I get the top
Just when I need to leave
For getting up so early
A nap would be a nice reprieve.
But back to w*rk I now must go
With inventory at least it won't be slow
I'll see you soon
Count on that
Dangit.. I gotta go.
Drat!
Innit?

p.4 by Kathyrn Draconna

Pirate’s Girl

In the rigging dangling down,
By her knees, hair all aroun’
Worried she’ll fall, captain yells,
His rank as father, he truly tells.
Rain pours down, stingingly,
As she yells a refusal wittingly.
Winds blow fast and hard,
Storm comes in, thunder loud.
Lightning flashes giving light,
To further a father’s fright.
Up he calls, pleading with her,
And downward her shouts were.
Finally, he won, down she came,
Dropping, a rock through the rain.
Caught by a friend, she laughed in fun,
Until his gaze, she saw and was done.
True fear for her, she read there,
Speaking of love, she never had anywhere.

p.5 by WeWoKa

Naps would be nice
To get to sleep twice
But alas they elude me
In all but the most needed of times
I'm tired and inspirationless this poem
So I just tried to make it rhyme.

p.6 by The Ancient One

For having to spend my time this way
When I really should write
and get my story right

p.5 by Aurelia

Now it's page five
I'm feeling rather alive
I have so many tests
And get little rest
School is my bane
As is the rain (too cold to walk in)
And my hands are freezing
And other people are cold and sneezing!

And two doesn't rhyme with maryland.
The next page is three,
And that doesn't rhyme with limitations.

p.3 by Cosmic Dancer

I'm top of page three,

I was so happy, I nearly cried!!

p.4 by Amy B

p. 5 by pern queen rider

Build a bonfire, build a bonfire,
put the hosties on the top
burn the logs on the bottem
see them build all the way up!
hear the hostie screams of horror,
bash the hosts, see their horror,
roasty roasty roasy roasty,
I want a toasty hostie!
Who will join me in a feast,
of clams and lilies?
and don't forget the wise ones too,
and we'll put the techs on the bottom to roast!

p.6 by monkeysrule

Page 6 is mine
And I don't wanna rhyme
But it's too late now.

p.7 by Aurelia

No matter how many clothes you wear
No matter how they rend
Somehow, somewhy, the laundry doesn't end
They come out of nowhere
Waiting just around the corner to scream, "Ha! Clean me - I'm only a pair!"
But, for now, it's only page seven
Just make sure not to post on page eleven.

p.8 by Shiaki

It is page eight here
And I am out the gate now
Bidding a good night!

p.9 by Pern queen rider

The life is unseen, where dreams have been;
the collage of life-where there is no strife
to come between me and you.
Mysteries and fantasies, scholars and empties
of life and love; of push and shove.
Enemies and the unforseen-
make you keen; in this land of shadows;
where sorrow lies.
In this land where we are free;
where everything is fuzzy-
where we live, where we die,
in this land of where shadows never lie.

p.2 by Aurelia

Woe is me
I'm sleepy
I risk the chance
Of doing a mental dance
If I have a boring class
I might just want to be quite crass
And say that I am quite tired
While others are jumping around like they're wired
But, for now, it's just page two
I hope you have fun in this WLT, too

p. 3 by Lisa Lewis

Here I was trying to just razz Ryuu
hoping I'd stay on page 2
So how can it be
that i'm on the top of page 3

p.4 by WeWoKa

Page 4
I'm about out the door
To w*rk... it better not be a bore.
Maybe good to distract my mind
But to me, sales better be more kind
I deal with enough as it is
I need money, it's true it is!!! :tantrum:
Innit?

p.5 by Aurelia

Whilst eating shrimp and chowder
The TV got less louder
The 'rents and I talked
Even though I balked
At watching a film with them
I'm now willeting
And I shall sing,
"'Tis page five!
I feel so alive!"

p.6 by Aurelia

Oh, just great
It's getting late
I should get some rest
Tomorrow, I have a blood test
I wake up early in the morn
And get a hole in my arm - I'll be forlorn
So enjoy this page six
I'll be sure to cover up the nicks (from the shot).

p.7 by WeWoKa

What the heck rhymes with seven?
Other than heaven?
I just don't know
So I'll go on a tangent
But what rhymes with tangent?
ARGH!
This poem is bad
I'm very sad
So to bed I soon should go.

p.8 by Socrates

It makes me want to go

To my bed to sleep
But, forget it - it's page two
Enjoy, all of you!

p.3 by C’milo

Pot stinks
So does rabble
here on page three
we continue to babble
the gentlemans club
the badger takes a hit
it's couples night
who gives... a darn.

p.4 by White Rabbit

On dear, I got the verse.
My rhymes are worse
than my singing
So I won't sing, not this time
I'll try to rhyme.

p.5 by Jax

Doom is upon me
Everything from here changes
Coping, hoping for the courage to get me through
Helplessness reigns supreme
Ugh.

p.6 by pern queen rider

Nope, Aint gotta so there!

p.3 by Aurelia

Today, I am cold
I've been out - no rabbit to hold
For much of the day - hard to
keep the cold at bay!
Sheesh, I didn't even try to rhyme
the last line - but does it matter?
I'm getting worse than the Mad Hatter. :shake:
But, you all - enjoy this page three
While I try and figure out the answer to 'to be or not to be'.

p.4 by Beisla

The light of the moon
awoke in me
the wind from the fells
gave me tales to breathe

I'll be your shaman
if I make a drum
for the skin, the white raindeer -
he must be the one

May the arrow be swift
and our hearts always true
for without you, I'm nothing -
I'm a brother to you.

p.5 by Aurelia

But all I've got to say is 'Hey!'

This morning I sing of Page Five,
Where it's great to be alive --
Alive, and out of bed,
Rather than the alternative: dead.
Oh yes, it's great to be alive,
And here atop Page Five,
In a Willet moving at a pace
That brings more to this place.
Yes, it's great to be alive,
And slowly starting Page Five.

white dots falling
farther and farther
in darkness so black
it's older than time

Still, I would fly
just for the adventure
holding your hand
just us two

p.3 by Aurelia

I trapped myself in a poem
Whilst feeling sick
I am writing this now
And not wanting to bow
To those bacteria, whom, I hope, make this cold quick
This is a good willet - enjoy page three
Whilst I go see what I can see

p.4 by Purpura

Keep trying Faren Hehe
Oh Hehe she got Meme

YAY FAREN You Set the Poem Trap
Innit?

p.5 by Attraio

I used to have immunity
from page 5 I was safe
until we changed community

Then out the door it went
and I had to do a poem
as bad a a whiff in a vent

So there it is don't you see
a poem for page 5
although it sucks with a capital vee!

All the Thread from the South

p.9 by Faren

Once again my friends
I don't repine
With a quote and a post
I start page NINE.

It's not easy
It takes some time
To get the rhythm
And make a rhyme

Here's my effort
Not the best
It'll take it's place
Among the rest.

p.10 by Aurelia

'Tis the last page of this thread
But I am feeling like a sled
Weighed down with w*rk and worries
But yesterday we havd no school - good ole flurries
This is all on page ten
I want to get better - just when?

WLT: Be gibberish and nonsense? by Weyrwoman Kalina 1-24-06

p.2 by Cherlyn

Well whatdo'ya know!
I came for the show
and what do I do?
I start page two.

p.3 by Faren

That's perfect
Just grand
I don't have a poem
Readily at hand.

Thinking hurts
Don't laugh, Rabble
All I can think of
is psychobabble

The music doesn't help
It's not inspiring me
To come up with a marvelous
poem for PAGE THREE.

p.4 by Rabble

Cats and claws
On page four
Mice in maws
Kittens do snore
A Badger has a claymore
'cus the pondites have much flaws
The catnip will outpour
while on ankles I do gnaw

p.5 by Rabble

Ack!
Eek!
Innit!

p.6 by Lisa Lewis

It looks like I'm in a fix
my on the top of page six

p.7 by Sophia Caligo

I was cruising along,
talking about my car,
Then I noticed something wrong.
Something rather bizzare.

A new page had appeared,
with a seven adorning its top.
And its something I've feared,
the dreaded page seven drop.

So I've avoided the worse,
keeping the number from the end.
Now this WLT message of verse,
I shall send.

p.8 by Kitsch

Except when he fights and comes in late
I worry he will get badly hurt
So far he just sits and purrs!

But no one took it willingly
So here I sit
And this I write
I wonder if I'll ever sleep tonight.

WLT: Ole! Ole! by Attraio 1-26-2006

p.2 by FallingLlama

So I started Page Two --
Well, someone had to.
May as well be me,
Though good? We shall see.
I'll rhyme if I can --
Yes, that is my plan.
I'll count metric feet
And try to complete
A poem of twelve lines,
As the rule defines,
To offer my homage,
Willet Page Poemage!

p.3 by Sharon

Ole! Ole!

Hostie Immunity...

p.5 by Aurelia

I've been waiting for this poem to come
I've been rather bored and numb
I'm having fun willeting
But I have midterms soon
What do I do? Swim in the lagoon.
So, it is now page five
And it is good to be alive.

p.6 by Kesal

Page six
kitty licks
pouring rain
stops again
it's really hot
in my spot

p.7 by Amy B.

Ode to the Willet:

the poemage is good
and we panic (as we should)
but who likes page seven?
very few becaue it don't rhyme
which would be just fine
except it makes writing a bain
it is a pain and and my brain
is a shame cos this poem is pants
say even the ants.
Page seven, rhymes with
eleven and heaven and Dvon
Innit!

p.8 by Rabble

Page Eight is now here
and here's Kitty! I fear
That soon may appear
Jayson is his underwear
Innit, ain't it
May it, count it?

p.9 by FallingLlama

We're on Page Nine,
and it's all mine!
Okay, not all,
but just this small
bit of posting,
not worth boasting,
not much at all,
this little scrawl.
But I digress,
and should progress,
to end this verse
'fore it gets worse.

p.10 by Aurelia

Bookmarks are lost in the mists of time
As is nearly everything in the world
But I have time to find all of mine
Luckily, I have some still saved
But, otherwise, it'd be too grave
For page ten to go on so
But it's ok - just don't forget status quo

WLT: Be the calm after the competition by FallingLlama 1-28-2006

p.2 by Page Two, and look what we're talking about --
Ok, perhaps we're not talking throughout,
But Beisla and me, so talking exists,
And our budding Finn agriculturalist
Wants to work in that place where Kiwis roam,
Wants to find a job so far from her home.
A farm with Llamas -- how cool would that be?
She'd surely be the target of envy!
And so on Page Two the topic is Llamas
Not with the question "Are you our Mommas?"
Instead, a serious conversation,
And much to my evident elation!

p.3 by Jax

Hostie Immunity :p

p.4 by Lisa Lewis

Came to see what page the willet was on.
Had to comment about Mom.
I shut the "door" on my post.
ended up on page "four"
and I'm not a host

p.5 by Aurelia

I am cold; there is no cure
Except to not annoy the parentals - I must be demure
My hands are freezing into ice
A cup of cocoa would be quite nice!
But I'll enjoy WLT page five,
And maybe I'll get warm by doing a jive!

p.6 by Aurelia

This has been the second page in a row
That I've written a poem - oh, woe!
I have a midterm tomorrow
Which is causing me much sorrow
As I have to get up early in the morn
And look at a test with scorn
But it is just the WLT page six
And writing these poems gives me good kicks!

Starting Poem Again,
Though this time with ten,
I'm beating C'milo up
I wish it were another person, yup.

But in the WLT we must be nice,
polite, and calm, and give advice.
Listen to all and say not a bit,
when you get upset over someone's fit.

Because we're civilized of course,
which means we must have remorse.
I shall finish this poem now,
and remember, I'm not holier than thou.

Where the willet's never a bore
As more and more and more

We're here to fill page four
But - hold on! - not before
Some Time has passed, and more.
Never race to fill page four

Or else thee be thrown out the door
By those who wish for more

Or else face the wrath of page four!

The first in quite a while.
I must work hard to remember how.
Else you will not smile.

Perhaps I'll po' of Monkeys

Or maybe of Wabbits, Wolves or Llamas
Frolicking all around.

Of Cats and Meeses and Unicorns
I'll attempt to strive
But now that I'm out of room
I guess I'll just say "PAGE 5!"

p.6 by Dux

There was a jolly willeteer
Who camped beside a Duckie Pond
Under the shade of a Cuppy Tree

And she sang as she set
and waited for the Badger Sett
You'll come a warring, on page 6 with me.

You'll come a warring, you'll come a warring
Oh you'll come a warring with S P T's

And she sang as she set a sharpening her SPT's
You'll come a warring, a warring with me.

p.9 by Lisa Lewis

setting a poem trap to get us to the
top of page nine.

p.10 by Aurelia

It be a poem in the willet this time
I tend to strive to make it rhyme
Teachers say it need not do so
But I think it sounds better, though
Description makes a poem quite long
And a poem can be turned to a song
But that has nothing to do with page ten
Unless one is talking about poem-zen!

Sakes alive --
Page Five!
While I was ketchin'
Monkey was fetchin;
A poem trap for me to trip,
And into it I did slip,
So now must type a rhyme or three
Ere to return to I be
Free to go without the guilt
Of non-poemage Willet a-tilt
So this effort I contrive
To somehow honor (?) Page Five!

p.6 by FallingLlama

I stopped in just for a moment,
I intended to leave right away.
Now I'm expected to be eloquent
But I can't think of anything to say!
I should be putting words together
For a paper that's due all too soon,
But now I don't know whether
I'll finish it this afternoon.
Enough! I need to get going,
Or I'll really be in a fix,
So I'd best get the words flowing
And finish this Ode to Page Six.

p.7 by Sophia Caligo

I'm sitting in the Library.
Page Seven appears,
and is rather scary,
a cumilation of everyone's fears.

I've got the thing twice
already and am quite fed
up. Most WLT poems are nice,
but Page Seven poems are dead.

So I'll go back to searching,
for books about history.
Let the bell ring.
And let this poem be.

some little poem for the willet and the pages
even when it takes us centuries and ages

or do I mean it creeps?
I'm so confused, could that 'Sassin be lying?
or is it just some meeps?

Whatever the case might be
I'll sweat in blood and tear
to compose for all of thee

Four little Quackers siting on a wall
Wondering how to make a little badger fall

But that won't make us win

We're cute and cuddly says number two

We've got webbed feet said number three
but that won't do at all

we'll treat her to a gin.

Out of nowhere it leaps on the rest
But, then, Armageddon is upon us

How many tales can be told
were we to dig in deep
deep down into the willet hold
stories for us to keep?

Poems old and blind

or just poems short and long
for pages young and old
and others merely for song
and page three, never cold!

p.4 by Attraio

Only if someone else wants to take them over. I don't go in the willets anymore (at least I haven't for a while and aren't planning on it soon), so it's not really worth my time to go through them all and archive them.

But anyone else is certainly welcome to take over the task! :ok:
