Okay I read a book once called Ella Enchanted. It was one of the best books I'd ever read. Well I also read The Wish, it was funny and cute. Well a time later I heard, "They are making and Ella Enchanted movie!!!" I was so happy. Well the day I finally saw the movie... It sucked. Now I want to sit the director down make him watch his evil film and then read the book and then make him eat McDonalds food!!! :devil: *huff puff*
To me the book was sad, yet funny and very sweet.
And I just wanted to know if there were any other fans of Gail Carson Levine besides me.
Be fans of books not movies. lol :ok:

I'm pretty sure the makers of the movie didn't even read the book. Maybe they just read the back cover, but even that is questionable. It has to be one of the worst movies based on a book that I have ever seen, especially considering that the book was so good.

I have also read several of The Princess Tales series - other retellings of classic fairy tales, as well as Two Princesses of Bamarre, which I also enjoyed.

I not a fast reader & a book the size of Ella Enchanted usually takes me about a week, give or take a few days. But when I picked it up I couldnt put it down and I finished it with in a day! (HBP took me 3 days)Loved it so much I bought a copy for myself and a copy for my best friend, though I dont think she has ever read it yet :irked: I have all of the Princess Tales books, which I found very enjoyable! :D & I have several of her books that I havent read yet, like Dave at Night, Two Princesses of Bamarre, The Wish... Wait a minute that all her books :roll: Correction! I just remembered that she is coming out with a new book that has to do something with the fairies in Neverland :) It looks really cool!! :D
