I hate to say it, Blue, but that girl in her Starbuck character was one of the main reasons I didn't bother watching more of the new series - not that I watched the first one really, but still!

Hmm, I can't honestly see it, I always figured Kris a little prettier and a little taller and thinner. But yeah personality might work if not looks?

Yeah, I've seen the (Fake) Battlestar Gallactica. I should think Number Six (http://www.imdb.com/gallery/scrapbook/63/BSG04EP11_3016CS_LowRes.jpg) might fit the Kris character more. I think Six is prettier and considering how tough this human looking cylon is, I think it'd work.

Milla's too thin and not tall enough. That number 6 woman would suit better than Starbuck, even if she's at least 10 years too old. Scarlett Johansson would be right age-wise, but she may be too feminine looking.

I don't think age would matter to much due to in a lot of movies usually the actors/actresses are usually way older then the character they play are =P.

Number six is pretty good looking for kris ^^ I wonder who else out there would play her charcter well. Why cant they make a movies or something on the book ;_; I would love to have that happen.

I think age does matter, kris was taken from a university campus where she was a student, and from the sounds of it an undergrad. this would put her in the 18-23 age range. this was why she didn't know what happened to her family and why she kept bringing up the survival course that she took which her mom thought was a waste of time. number 6, though very pretty and would make a good kris, looks as if she were in her early thirties. so i believe that we need someone that looks younger.

Katee Sackhoff who plays Starbuck said, last Saturday in Manchester ;) , that she was born after the original series had been cancelled - so she would fit the age bracket.

BTW - I nearly choked when I heard her say that, because at that time I was nearly the same age as she is now :eek:

Kris was bearly 22 when the females of botnay were told they had to have children. My copy of Freedon's choice was lost so I can't give page numbers.. It's the part where Zainal tell's her Mirford said she'd have to bare a child maybe two for the colony. I always figured she was 19-20 when the Catteni attack.

Right. Tricia Helfer's 32 now, although she did play a young model in CSI: Las Vegas in 2002. For most of the episode her face was mutilated, though, so I don't know how much that proves one way or the other. Overall, I feel she's too old to play Kris.
