How's about using this space to advertise all your current favouorites as you get 'em...

Not the same as what you're listening to right now, this includes all those CD's bought for other folk too! Like today for example, I just bought Busted's second album for my hubby! For those who don't know, Busted are (were) a three piece boyband type from the UK who actually had enough talent to write lyrics, music and perform ont heir own instruments! A rarity in some of the manufactured worlds today!

I also bought myself a 'Euphoria' CD... Dance compliation series with mixes by different DJs. So far we've got the original one, 'Chilled' Euphoria and now this one... which is called... :erm: I forget  It was £5.99 int he sales so I picked it up!

*trying to think of the last time I actually bought a CD for myself*

So, not counting the few I've recieved as gifts, I think the last time I bought a CD was around the time after Titanic came out, and I bought the soundtrack. Why? I guess I thought the movie was cool and also that I ought to own at least some CD's.

And no, I don't listen to a lot of music... though I do occationally go to the library and check out a CD. The last one I got from the library was U2's All That You Can't Leave Behind, because I really like U2 and hadn't listended to that one yet. :D

I haven't purchased a cd in quite a while, I think ithe last one was Black Eyed Peas - Elephunk. Thats not usually my style of music, but I'd seen them on tv and heard them on the radio so much, I had to get the CD.

They released all the best tracks as singles, the rest was rubbish!

Scissor Sisters are really rather in right now! They've been a suprise success of 2004 into 2005! We bought their album some months ago, before they were famous! :D

The Ultimate Charlie Daniels- I bought this because right now I can't afford the much more complete The Roots Remain. It also contains two songs from his album Homesick Heroes that are avaliable in print only on either one of those sets. Homesick Heroes is out of print due to contraversy about his remake of his song Uneasy Rider.

The last one I bought was Bond's third album, "Classified".

Why? 'Cause I like classics! And if they have a bit of modern punch to them, so much the better! :bouncy:

Guilty! I was rooting for Diana also. My friend and I loved it when she just belted out a song. Sadly, she doesn't have very many songs like that on her album - so my friend says, I haven't got to listen to it yet. I was rooting for Clay over Rhuben, as well. I like the runner ups. ;)

I didn't realize other countries got to see American Idol. I wish we got to see some from other countries - that'd be cool! :good:

Well there were a couple I didn't like, but most I thought were good. This is probably the only CD of that genre that I like.

The last CD that I bought...

I think it was either The Ultimate Yanni Collection (because it included "Santorini", my favorite piece from him) or Direct from Vangelis (because it was the cheapest thing I get buy that I liked at the time). :bouncy:

I was rooting for Diana too. I couldn't stand Fantasia from the beginning, but oh well thats the way it goes. Haven't seen a CD from either of them though.

I finally got to listen to my friends' Diana Degarmo CD. It wasn't bad. :tilt: A few of the songs were really good, but the rest were just okay. My friend also has Fantasia's CD, but I haven't listened to it yet.

This is really kind of sad, maybe... But the last (and only) CD I bought was nearly a year ago, and I actually ordered it in especially. The soundtrack to the Buffy musical episode, Once More With Feeling. Hardly ever listen to it now, though. I got that season on DVD for my Birthday. ;)

The last CD I bought was Jann Arden's first album. My sister had all her CDs except that one, so I gave it to her for her birthday.

The last one I bought for myself is Gretchen Wilson's Here for the Party. Great CD, just terrific! Gretchen rocks!

My last 2 CD's arrived on the same day.

First I ordered the CD of the performance to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Les Miserables, simply to find out what it was like. I already knew a couple of the songs and fairly quickly found out that a couple on this soundtrack can reduce me to tears. Much to my son's amusement.

The other I noticed in a shop locally. It was a recording of Saint Saens 3rd or Organ symphony with the Carnival of the Animals for £5.99. Why? Because I love he final movement of the symphony. I also am desperate to find out if the theme was used in a song that I seem to remember. I am sure it was a song, I hope it was or I am going nuts.
When Iwin the lottery I will start buying CDs more regularly.
