Does anyone listen to radio online?
BBC Radio One (UK) is a superb station that nicely archives many of it's old shows. I beleive that many of the BBC Radio networks do this now, and it's great to be able to replay the charts, or just some other favouorite show but Radio One is about all I've listened to online, other than occasionally Purple radio (a Gay station) in the past.
Anyone got any recomendations for decent online stations...?

My current faves are Celtic Grove (http://www.celticgrove.com) and Virgin Radio.

I tried once but they wanted me to download so much stuff that I gave up. It wasn't worth it for me, I've got lots of cds. :)

i guess i'm boring.. If i listen to the radio online..i listen to JackFM (a local station here that also broadcasts over the web) as well as Zoned OUT Radio (which is a shoutcast station that belongs to a group of tournament hosts that i'm part of) that a friend of mine puts on (Live DJ only 4 hours a week tho...rest of the time it's all random playlist). :)

The only one I listen to, so far, is Yahoo's Launchcast (http://launch.yahoo.com/launchcast/). It's simple to set up and I like that I can rate the songs, artists and albums. :ok: It's doesn't have the best sound at times, but that doesn't bother me much.

Just tried Launchcast... Doesn't work on Mozilla Firefox :irked:
Will try again later, using IE to open it, whilst I browse in Firefox
Might end up being too much hassle!
Thanks for the recommendations so far though :ok:

I used LaunchCast, I even have a radio station there. However, it's very annoying that you can buy the better sound quality ad-free service only in the US and Canada, but the rest of us get the annoying ads anyway. :irked: So I've pretty much given up on that.

You just have to be difficult, don't ya, Jayson? ;)
I've only tried Launchcast with IE, so I'm can't help you with Firefox. But I can tell that I have to turn off my pop up blocker to use it. Don't know if that helps you any. :tilt:
Granath, I haven't bothered with the membership since I don't use it all the time. Shame you can't get the benefits though. :(

Persevere with Celtic Grove. You often get access errors in the evenings European time. Try it when Alter is doing nightshift and you have the mornings free. That's when I usually manage to log on. :ok:

I've started listening to online radio recently. R1 GERMANY plays some pretty good songs but some might be in German.

Program 1 is what I listen to usually.
