And the list of what other books Anne has written. :( I love those, when they list them in order of when they were written.

I agree C'milo, I missed the map too :( Maybe there'll be one in Dragonsblood.

It doesn't bug me too much about the lack of lists of books, cuz I already have the full list of Pern books and dates. I'm not sure about the others she's written though...

I do miss the maps but it is not like I don't have access to other maps  you know. The names of the other books are not available mainly because these are books by Todd McCaffrey.

What I miss  is the list of names and what they do in the back of the book. Along with the names of the dragons and riders or in this case Watch Whers.

In a couple of copies of mine they have a glossary of Holds and terms. :( Those were helpful.

The dragondex is terribly helpful when you consider how many characters are in the series. I hope there'll be one in Dragonsblood. It's a little weird to flip to the back of the book and find nothing there.

Ahh but that just makes for we archivists jobs that much more challenging ;)

When we have to note every new name and location.

I like having the maps as well. Of course, what I'd really like, is a completely updated Atlas of Pern. :hopping:
