AMCF Rules

By registering on this site and/or participating in these forums you agree to follow these rules:

I. General site rules

All Members, (the General Membership and the Staff Members), are bound by the rules of this site.

1. All Members, (Staff Members and the General Membership), of this site will not use the Kitchen Table Bulletin Board or the Kitchen Table Live Chatroom ("the site") to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, material of a sexual matter, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise unlawful.

2. Members must not provoke, or engage in personal attacks of any nature and this includes flaming (direct or indirect insults of other users), trolling (posting in order to provoke an angry reaction from others), mod-baiting (posting topics or replies that almost break the rules, in order to annoy the staff).

3. Any impersonation of another forum participant or any other persons is prohibited and will not be tolerated. Members may not use any other member's account without the express permission of the Hosts.

4. Solicitation for money, goods or services for personal gain is not permitted. Commercial advertising is not allowed. Goods can be offered for sale or exchange in the Sell & Swap Forum. Charity appeals are allowed if they are to be made through a direct link to a reputable charities website posted in the Lounge. Any such thread started elsewhere will be moved to the Lounge.

5. Any language considered unsuitable for a family site is unacceptable and may be reported by any Member through the "Report Post" button or by a PM to a Host.

6. Posting Spam is unacceptable and may be reported by any Member through the "Report Post" button or by a PM to a Host. Registering specifically to post spam will result in an immediate ban.

7. No personal matters pertaining to another site may be aired here by any member. In turn, no Host may regard the actions of members on another site as a reason to take action on this site.

8. Hosts may edit, lock, move, or delete any thread or post that contravenes the site rules, is posted in the wrong area, or at the request of the thread starter. The Member(s) concerned will be informed as to the reason.

9. The IMG code is active in all forums. Please use this to post images only when necessary, and ensure that images which are presented in IMG code are in jpg form and no more than 600px across in order to prevent undue problems to other users. We will edit out images that are too large. We ask that the above rules of the site are obeyed in images (including the rules relating, but not limited to, copyright and obscenity). Please do not use the images in signatures. The IMG coding should only be used for posts.

Site Management

1. Donations of money or items for use as prizes will not grant the donator any special privileges. Donations are not refundable.

2. The Members will be informed of any relevant decision(s) made by the Hosts in an appropriate manner.

3. If any Member has a problem with a Host or Host decision, they are invited to select any Host to represent them to the rest of the AMCF Staff.

4. Staff Members will be chosen with input from the Membership, but the final decision rests with the Hosts.

5. The AMCF Staff Members reserve the right to; add, remove, modify, amend any portion or all of this document at any time with or without prior notice. The membership will be advised in the Site Management forum of any changes.
